My sister, her husband and their 2 children came down to visit us for the holiday. My mother, sister and I got to spend a good part of the day together in the kitchen. We don't get to do that very often. We had a table full for dinner, it's a good thing we get along. lol :)

  Lisa I know I have been away for quite some time. I didn't forget about this site, I just haven't been myself for quite some time. My Mom, my 2 sons and I were in a car accident on father's Day. That kind of ended up taking the rest of the summer for all of us...  moreI know I have been away for quite some time. I didn't forget about this site, I just haven't been myself for quite some time. My Mom, my 2 sons and I were in a car accident on father's Day. That kind of ended up taking the rest of the summer for all of us to recover from. My Mom took the brunt of the hit and is still recovering, but doing very well. I'm unhappy with not finding a job and have gotten to the point where I'm now looking sporadically, which I don't think is good. Life is ok in general. I hope you all are doing well.  less

  Lisa I have a lead on a job in Rocky Mount, NC and I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me anything about the area. I have a special needs child who has Aspergers and I need to know about schools. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

  Lisa not feeling well, but better than I was 2 days ago. Why is it that when your children get sick, they invariably share it with you too? When I taught them to share I didn't mean for them to share their germs with me. lol

    Laura Stamps Maybe you need to explode and have a good cry. That always works for me. I had so much emotionally heart wrenching stuff to deal with last year. Crying for hours to get it all out helped me survive it. Much love to you!! ~bighug~

My shrink once told me if that didn't work, take a bat/hammer/ax/meat cleaver and beat the snot out of a ole dead tree.. Great exercise, and by the time your done, trust me, the energy is gone and you are wore out. lol
