On December 15, 2011 I witnessed the most amazing thing, the birth of my first grandchild. My daughter and her boyfriend invited me to be in the delivery room and I watched as my grandson emerged into this world. He was 6 pounds 15.5 ounces and 19 3/4 inches long. I never knew that watching a birth could be so amazing and wonderful. When it was all over, I went to the other room to tell the family members that were waiting and I instantly started crying as I told everyone that I was a grandmother. Elliot is the most precious baby boy and is so good. I feel like I'm walking around with a permanant smile on my face.
