I will most likely get some flak from people for this but I feel it is important. Our next door neighbor brought over a BB Gun for Nonio to have. Well gun safety 101 started. Never point at another living thing, he only gets it when he is with a responsible adult, sight picture, Cleaning and care. Then onto what every kid wants to do shoot it. Well beginners luck! His dad took the 1st shot and missed, I took the 2nd and missed. He gets his shot and hit’s the can! LOL. Well the main point is I feel that a child needs to learn gun safety EVEN if you do not have a gun. The main reason is they may come across one through a friend and so on. They need to know what to do so they live and don’t get hurt.
Guns are a very sensitive issue to all sides and I do not want to start a fight pro or con on the subject! I just feel that since they are here we need to make sure that are children know what to do if they get in contact with one without us around them when it happens. A friend, someone at school just bringing it to school finding one on the street (yes it happens). Well I hope I did not offend anyone. I just have seen too many “accidents” not to say something.
