For those that have been asking for SSL, your requests have been answered. Today an SSL certificate was issued to Pagan-Place by Comado who is one of the 3 largest certificate authorities on the internet today. The new SSL Certificate has been installed on the server and is now fully functional.

Q. What does it do?
A. By having the certificate and using a secure connection it allows the information that passes between you and Pagan-Place to be encrypted (think scrambled) so that no one else could intercept the information and be able to read it or use it.
Q. What does this mean to me?
A. First, this means we care about you! Secondly, means that as long as you use the https version of the address to visit Pagan-Place that you can be asured that your information is secure.
Q. But my profile is visible to the internet so how does this make any difference?
A. Sure it is, if you choose for it to be public. BUT, the credentials you use to log in to access your account aren't! This helps keep your email address and password private. Also, even if you stay on Pagan-Place for an extended period of time your browser and the server talk to each other periodically to make sure your who you really are. This prevents things we call session highjacking and man-in-the-middle attacks.
Q. What do I need to do?
A. Right now, using the SSL is optional. If you want to give it a try then just go to https://www.pagan-place.com and use the new secure address. (Don't forget to update your bookmarks and favorites!)
Q. Short and sweet version?
A. We got you covered!
